Concept Design & Space Planning

estudio-iris creates concepts using mood images as a tool for making your visions a reality while always keeping budget and the functional requirements of a space at front of mind.  We develop an overall scope, while providing space planning options with furniture layouts.

Finishes and Furnishings

To achieve a cohesive project, estudio-iris selects finishes (for interior and exterior) throughout the design process in tandem with designing all the necessary spaces.  Interior details, ceiling plans, cabinetry design, millwork, surface patterns, etc.  

Detailing and Construction Drawings

Interior detailing and proper drawing documentation is essential in executing a sophisticated design, no matter how big or small your project is.  Each drawing set is coordinated and include: ceiling plans, finish plans, furniture plans, electrical plans, detailed elevations, millwork details, custom cabinetry, architectural details and schedules (finishes, doors, lighting, plumbing, appliances)

Project Administration

This is a recommended phase for all projects to ensure builders and contractors are executing the design with the provided drawing documentation.  Drawings are coordinated with builders/contractors and any additional consultants.  Site walk-throughs include: supervision of all details/layouts that need to be executed, cabinetry, custom built-ins/pieces, tile/stone installation and furnishings

Renderings

2D or 3D renderings are a great tool that can be provided in order to communicate the design intent with clients.  

Furniture Procurement

 Furniture selections are an integral part of every project and estudio-iris can not only make the necessary selections but also provide a full service with procurement and budget proposals.  It’s  a one stop shop for clients.  Market trips with clients can also take place during this process.
